Simplified Job Description
-
Win Form Development:
Create and maintain Windows Forms applications in VB.NET using SQL Server and
MS Access back-ends. You’ll need a decent foundation in VB.NET for this.
-
Web Development:
Create, maintain, and update web sites. You’ll need to use VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL
Server, HTML, and a sprinkling of Java Script and XML for this. For this

cool web sites. We’ll leave the “cool” quotient to someone else.
-
Component Development:
Create and maintain class libraries used in both Windows Forms (VB.NET) and Web
(ASP.NET).
-
Help Files:
Create and maintain help files for use in WinForm and Web applications. You’ll
need VB.NET, SQL Server, ASP.NET, and HTML know-how for this.
-
Customer Support: Work with customers, especially during
alpha and beta testing, to help debug and resolve software problems.

quality assurance professional and various types of manufacturing
organizations.
