Purpose Section

This procedure establishes the methods used by Quality Assurance to release a product for shipment through contract review. Products to be shipped are classified as either needing or not needing Quality Assurance approval prior to shipment.

Sample Section (Procedure)

Contract review provides the mechanism to assure that only acceptable products and related data are released for shipment. Products that require Quality Assurance release through contract review have this approval requirement noted on the sales order.
