Purpose Section

This procedure establishes the method used to issue and maintain CD's within YCNH.

Engineering documentation contains information required for the construction of YCNH product, and includes, but is not limited to blueprints, schematics, BOMs, wiring diagrams, and drawings. This documentation is released from Document Control and shall be under revision control.

QA documentation contains information required for the construction and testing of YCNH product, and includes, but is not limited to other company procedures, forms, lists, charts, signs, and Certificates.

Unapproved work instructions are prohibited especially when they are necessary to create or test a product. If the information is required in order to properly create or test a product, it must be approved and converted into a controlled document. A work instruction is required if the absence of it will cause a product quality problem and/or prevent assembly or test personnel from performing their job.
