This procedure establishes YCNH's responsibility in identifying, providing and recording training and certification for new and existing employees and the continuing improvement in the level of work force skill, product performance, and services.
The medium upon which training is recorded is up to the discretion of each department. Training records for the current year are kept in the department (as identified on their records retention schedule) and past years records are retained by Quality Assurance. Training records must contain, as a minimum, the following information: Employee name or number, Name or initials of the trainer, date training was performed, evaluation of the effectiveness of the training, and subject trained on.
