Purpose Section

This procedure establishes the methods used by YCNH inspection to verify products and processes to meeting engineering and/or customer specifications during the manufacturing cycle.

Parts and assemblies will normally flow to the In-Process Inspection station. One of the following methods will be used to move material to In-Process Inspection.

1. Individual work order with serial and/or special number affixed.
2. Lot work order for a group of parts.
