The purpose of this procedure is to establish an audit function that evaluates the effectiveness of YCNH's quality management programs.

The audit of any area is a check of compliance against YCNH procedures and policies. Although an auditor will review an area to assure that it is in compliance with the procedures for that area, other criteria will be used as well. Some of the criteria may be the YCNH Quality Manual, external standards (i.e., ISO 9001), safety or workmanship standards, and possible productivity improvements.
