This procedure establishes the method of review, control and corrective action of in-process and final nonconforming material.<

Raw material, subassemblies and final assemblies that do not conform to the requirements specified by drawings, quality standards, purchase documents or manufacturing processes are identified, segregated from conforming material, controlled, and subjected to rework (if possible) or Material Review Board (MRB) action.
