This document, Statistical Techniques, helps build the user's understanding of basic statistical techniques used in the everyday work environment. The purpose of this procedure is to help individuals obtain a working knowledge of statistics and their application in process controls or Statistical Process Control (SPC). Another Sample Section (Interpreting Control Charts)When using control charts, a process is said to be in statistical control when: No data points fall outside the control limits, There is no recognizable pattern, Most of the data points are near the centerline, and Some data points spread out to the control limits.
