Purpose Section

The purpose of this procedure is to establish guidelines for identifying the functional status of all Work In Progress.

Another Sample Section (Sample Products)

Any product or component being used as a sample is to be marked with a yellow tag or label stating "SAMPLE," and the assembly part number. If the sample is not functional it must also be marked as, "VISUAL SAMPLE." Functional samples must be able to pass QA inspection and must be marked as, "FUNCTIONAL SAMPLE."
