This procedure defines methods of evaluating suppliers in qualifying them for supplying material, processes and services to be used in products.

YCNH suppliers meet certain basic requirements to qualify for supplying material, processes, and services used by, or supplied to, YCNH's customers. These requirements encompass technical capability, quality system management and cost constraints. The Purchasing and Quality Assurance Departments coordinate their efforts to select suppliers who meet or exceed quality requirements.
